Chadema due to train party leaders on good governance

Benson Kigaila
Chama Cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) plans to conduct training for its chairpersons and general secretaries countrywide as part of preparations for the coming Movement for Change (M4C) campaign scheduled for February next year.
Speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam on Monday, Chadema’s Head of Operation Benson Kigaila said the training will be held at Karagwe, in Kagera region. He said that among other things, the leaders will be trained on good governance and set up appropriate strategies for implementation of M4C policies in their respective regions.
“We are planning on training our regional chairpersons and general secretaries so as to equip them with enough knowledge which could be planted to other party leaders. This training will ensure effective implementation of M4C next year,” he said.
Kigaila said the leaders will attend classes for two days before they go for practicals in Karagwe district where they will be conducting public rallies.
The party had recently urged all Tanzanians to join the ‘Movement for Change’ campaigns in order to foster national development which the government has failed to achieve for many years.
